The VIO C12 is an active 2-way line source loudspeaker designed to create powerful, compact, and scalable clusters. It offers the sound pressure levels of a line array with the flexibility of a point source. The unique constant curvature waveguide provides a defined 22.5° vertical coverage, allowing multiple C12 units to be arrayed seamlessly for larger vertical or horizontal coverage.
The VIO C series features innovative IR (Infrared) ports on the top and sides. When modules are clustered, they automatically detect each other’s presence and position. This allows the system to setup the correct acoustic compensation and coverage settings instantly via the OLED display or Aurora Net software, simplifying the rigging process significantly.
Driven by a 1600W RMS Digipro G4 amplifier, the C12 delivers an impressive 139 dB SPL. It houses a premium 12" neodymium woofer (3.5" VC) and a 1.4" compression driver (3" VC). The electronics include full-range PFC, IPOS (Intelligent Power-On Sequence), and an RDNet card for complete remote control.
